VOTE IS IN, A STRONG BLACK WOMAN WON

The union vote recently at Connecticut Juvenile Training School in Middletown,Connecticut was quite interesting. A nice rank & file turn out voted in a strong black woman that CJTS management and obstructionist Youth Service Officers tried to keep from representing  hoi polloi (greek," the common people"). It certainly did catch management off guard when the strong black woman gathered in numerous votes; on the day of her victory management et al.(and others) were attempting to shake the strong black woman's hand --as if this gesture meant something. Later in the day members of CJTS management were heard saying how they (management) wanted to work in harmony with a new union steward. Hold on folks. Not long ago the same pernicious management et al. sought to verbally muzzle this strong black woman, now since her victory management want to hold hands and sing black spirituals. Please, do not make me puke.
